For the time is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.

Be still and know that I am God.

| The Music and Worship Ministry at RRBC exists to give our people an outlet for musical and artistic expressions of worship. If you are looking for a "musical" place to serve or if you are simply looking for a place to join other believers in "lifting Him up on the praises of His people", then the Music and Worship Ministry of Raymond Road Baptist Church has a place for you. Take some time to browse through our ministries below and we hope to see you soon as we all lift our voices to "sing to the Lord a new song". |

For Man’s Good
and
God’s Glory

Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant , and praise is beautiful.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord |

Our Worship Choir is comprised of men and women who serve not only as our worship leaders, but as our lead worshippers. This choir sings weekly in our morning worship services and also prepares and presents seasonal musicals each year. Members of the choir benefit from the warm fellowship, the opportunity to use their God-given talent, and the privilege to lead in worship. In all that we do, we are careful to give God the glory...He most certainly deserves it.
The Worship Choir is open to anyone 7th Grade and above (no auditions are necessary). We rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM. If you have any questions about our Worship Choir, please email Chuck.

Say to God, "How awsome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praise to You; they shall sing praises to Your name."

RRBC is priviledged to have a 5-octave handbell choir. This dedicated group of ringers uses Malmark Handbells to ring their praise to the Lord. The handbells usually lead in worship about once a month as well as presenting seasonal concerts during the year. They are under the direction of Kenneth Walker.
Ringing both contemporary and classic selections, the bells create an atmosphere of worship like no other instruments. When our handbells play - whether ethereal or exciting, soothing or soaring - the glory of God is evident with every note that rings through the Worship Center.
If you have questions about our Handbell Choir, please email Chuck.

Children & Preschool Choirs |
 |
RRBC is also home to two age-graded choirs.
Our Preschool Choir is for boys and girls in K3-K5. Each meeting is packed with age appropriate songs and activities (and there's always a snack!). As with all our Preschool activities, this is not just babysitting....our boys and girls are being taught the very basic fundamentals of music and - most importantly - music is the means by which they are learning about God's love for them!! They are under the leadership of Theresa Russell and Vicki Waddell.
Our Children's Choir is for boys and girls in 1st - 6th grades. Again, each week is loaded with age appropriate songs and activities (and, yes, they have a snack too!). They are learning the basics of how to read music and just what all those little black dots, lines and "squiggly things" mean. The songs they sing also give them a way to express their praise to God and the truths found in the lyrics they learn give them Biblically sound principles by which they can live everyday. It's music made practical! They are under the leadership of Jaye Myers, Kaye Nations, and Sharon Beasley.
Both choirs meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:15. Each choir also sings in our worship services quarterly as well as on special occasions. They meet during the school year from August to May. If you have any questions about our age graded choirs, please email Chuck.

| You have turned my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent! |
