RRBC's Children's Ministry
RRBC'S Philosophy of Preschool and Children's Ministry: PRESCHOOLERS are taught by concepts in eight areas: Jesus; God; Self; Others; Natural World; Bible; Church; Family We teach through activities on the developmental and age level of preschoolers, striving to teach with the characteristics of preschools in mind. Believing that preschoolers grow just like Jesus grew "in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52), preschoolers learn by playing and interacting with friends. Our goal in our preschool ministry is to provide support to parents in their task of training their child to go in the way he/she should go. CHILDREN are graded according to their school age. Because of their characteristics we teach to meet their spiritual, mental and physical needs. Our lessons are based on seven objectives: (1) Christian Conversion; (2) Church Membership; (3) Christian Worship; (4) Christian Knowledge and Conviction; (5) Christian Attitudes and Appreciations; (6) Christian Living; and (7) Christian Service. Lessons have varied activities to enhance each child's learning style. We believe children are a treasure from the Lord. Our goal in our children's ministry is to aid parents in their task of parenting and to help them in teaching children the virtues and character of God.
